Caroline Bald Duncomb lived on or near New Hampton, Iowa, had 3 or more children and was probably a little retarded. Two of the children were retarded. The oldest child, Gertrude, was normal and lived in Buffalo with Amelia Ganson for some time.

She spent her later years in Davenport where she died and is buried in Calvary Cemetery on a lot with Helen Bald Bear.
