Francis Bald Obituary

Committal services for Francis A. Bald, 69, Burlington, Iowa, formerly ofDavenport, will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel,Davenport.

The Prugh Funeral service, Burlington, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bald was pronounced dead on arrival Monday at Burlington MemorialHospital after an apparent heart attack.

Mr Bald had owned and operated a coal and heating supply company inBurlington until retiring a year ago.

He was born in New Hampton, Iowa. He married Gertrude Reufer in 1930 atDavenport.

Mr. Bald is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs.Richard (Mary Jane)DeGryse, Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Donald, Aura, Colo.; four grandchildren;sisters, Sister Mary Alphonsa, Ottumwa, Iowa, and Mrs. Ethel Keller,Kalamazoo, Mich.; brothers, Charles, Rock Island and Vincent, Wahpeton,N.D.; a stepsister, Mrs Helen Bear, Davenport, and stepbrothers, HarryBald, Davenport, and Clarence Bald, Freeport, Il.
